Welcome to Elementary Title Math
Elementary Title Math and Reading in Kindergarten : Students become a part of title after they take tests , I-ready math, number sense, and language skills. These are given by the classroom teacher and the title teacher. The classroom teacher than decides if the student will benefit from the support services that Title provides. Parents will be notified if their child needs Title services.
Students are not locked into Title Services all year long. Parents and teachers decide when students no longer need services and are back in the classroom.
Students are taught in small groups or individually. Their meeting times will be scheduled so students will not be missing core class time and no longer than 30 minutes daily. They will be working on the same math skills and reading skills as in their classrooms . Students will be using hands on activities, math tools, computer and iPad programs for practice. They do very little paper work. Students enjoy learning math and reading skills in a smaller setting.
CLASSROOM EXPECTATIONS: 1. Be ready to work. 2. Listen. 3. Use your skills to learn.
SMILE AND HAVE FUN LEARNING !
